Computer Repair – Bench/Field Technician

Pay: Entry Level position

Job Type: 30-40 Hours

Currently we are looking to fill a position within our staff that requires the system cleanings and hardware repairs/upgrades of various computer systems and servers. PC and Mac. Various models and brands. Laptops, Desktops, Servers. etc.

Desired Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Office365
  • Ability to adapt to healthcare specific technology needs
  • Ability to install, configure, and train on new third-party applications
  • Provide end-user support and training
  • Working knowledge of Apple, Android, Windows based and other mobile devices
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new computer network equipment and technologies. Analyzes current products and recommends changes/upgrades to senior management.
  • Devises solutions to complex operational problems within the capacity and operational limitations of installed equipment.
  • Communication, Customer Service, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Analytical, Inventory Management, Time Management and Organization Skills
  • Proficient with power tools, terminating ethernet, and running cables

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Information Technology
  • Cisco CCENT or CCT Certification
  • Reliable Transportation – ability to travel
  • Flexibility with Schedule – Must be prepared to be in an On-Call Rotation/After-hours support including weekends required
  • Maintain timely and complete documentation of all daily and project work, using standard methods and procedures
  • Flexible and open to change, adapts well to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Ability to be reliable, responsible and dependable at all times
  • Desire to go above and beyond to serve our customers and meet our deadlines
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills
  • Proactively address new and emerging problems
